Ich bin wirklich nicht gut..

German Semester test was so hard... When i saw the whole passage of German, I felt so sleepy and spaced out that I don't really want to read it properly.. A sudden sian-ness in me.. and I couldn't control how I felt.. It was horrible. Urgh.

Then there's this section about describing what the lecturer is wearing.. I took a look at Frau Niemann...(to the extent of staring)

She's wearing white pants and white tee with a red shirt that has green leaves all over.. My German is SO GOOD such that I ignored the green leaves and just stated that she is wearing a red shirt with white pants.. I'm so smart.

The problem is I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS 'LEAVES' in german!

For the whole day I was feeling rather horrible and urgh.. a very terrible feeling. I better speak more german for the last two German lessons to earn more participation marks....

I shall go online less frequently since exams are coming.. Shall mug till I die.

For individual work, I got the "What are you supposed to or wanted to do when you were 16 years old?" question.. a topic which we went through before in tutorial.. My sentences were practically uttered out ONE-BY-ONE. But the overall performance should be not bad bah.. at least my German improved.. compared to last Semester.. Can't wait to go Germany again to show off my German.. geeee... Ok la.. I'm not German Goddess la.. mayb German Genie? :P

Oh, last week something funny happened. Sharon told me that Ningjia said that there is someone chasing me... My answer was "How come got people chase me I dunno one??" Well, my dear Ningjia, just because my msn nick sounds love-sick doesnt mean that I'm in love.. duh. It's a line from my favourite drama. Finally got to saw a carnivorous plant eating up an insect..

The cute General Biology Lecturer... (isn't he cute??)

showed us some sticky insect.. (Don't ask me why it's sticky. Ask the insect yourself.) And he shoved the insect onto the stem.. The insect seemed unwilling to go into the centre of the "mouth" of the plant (OF COURSE!!).. And thus, he pushed it with some stick all the way in and *pop* the plant closes its mouth and byebye insect!!

yyyyeeeeeeewwwwwww...

The lecturer explained that as long as the sensory hair on the plant's "mouth" is being moved twice, it'll close its "mouth".. thus, enabling it to eat insects.. interesting.. but sorry, no interest in advancing into Biology.

Someone said this to me and it sort of send chills down my spine. Was all alone today again.. Wanted to eat Macdonalds' Big Breakfast but I was too early. So I settled for two half-boiled eggs and Lor Mai Gai at Engine Canteen.. which has a COOL name called Techno Ache.. no.. Edge. Was trying to bia all my readings asap before examinations.. Was rather successful la.. *satisfied* Of course, I didn't finish all but it's good enough for 8 hours of studying.. Just keep going strong and I believe I can finish at least a reading for one lecture!! :)

Met Victor at the AS1 corridor.. stopped half-way at the staircase to chat.. The muscle man looked damn shagged.. I thought I was the shagg-est..(And yeah, that's why I got home late and forgot to set the timer for my drama).. Go go Muscle Man!! You can do it!! We'll survive this Semester and hopefully pass German with flying colours! (sounds like primary school children sia)

Did a skit in German tutorial.. Wir haben viel Spaß gemacht!!

We're supposed to do a skit about Red Riding Hood.. a continuation of it. One group is supposed to do a skit in a Grundschule (Primary School).. the second group will do a skit in a hospital.. the third will do a skit in a Kneipe (Pub), and the last one will do a skit in the Großmutter's (Grandmother's) house.

My group was the first group and I was Roettkappchen, Victor(not muscle man) was the teacher and Junwei, Lydia and one more girl were my classmates.. Me trying to exaggerate what happened between me and the wolf. So here goes...

Cindy: (nudge my classmate)
Lydia: Was?
Cindy: Gestern habe ich ein Wolf umgebracht!
Victor: (writing on the white board)umgebracht... das heißt "knocked off" auf Englisch...
Lydia drops pen.

The ending was a bit duh because it was impromptu and we were slow at thinking of the storyline. Trotzdem es eine gute Geschichte war! :)

The other groups performed very well too. Had fun looking and laughing at the other skits.. For the wolf scene, the wolf apparently became love-sick.. think he likes Roettkappchen.. haha.. The beer scene was drama-mama.. the Indian guy was very good at acting.. to the extent that our german teacher suggested that he can try out in Mediacorp. Hilarious. And lastly the grandma scene. Grandma(Joan) became the one who killed the wolf and she even cooked wolf soup. gosh..

Today I showed someone the way to the lecture venue.. and I didn't expect her to be the guest lecturer! She gave me a lollipop in lecture. haha.. such small pleasures dun seem to exist in our lives anymore.. I mean.. semi-adult lives? :X

Yesterday was lamenting about no prospects of finding a boyfriend with my fellow Social Work Major friends.. I'm not desperate okay. I'm just thinking about my future. And my mum mentioned something like.. my future boyfriend should have 上进心.. i was thinking, if he doesnt have that, I might not even find him attractive anyway. bahh..

There's this China guy from lab.. think he's a lab assistant or something like that. Me and Jane had queries about the lab thingy and asked him.. He put his hand on his chin.. touched it.. and said "hmmm.." and "wait. I check the answer.." and grinned at us sheepishly. I mean, it was such a cute action! (ok. can sense that you all don't understand)

Yesterday, we had a lecture on Malay Culture.. the one who lectured was a director of an FSC. And he was very humorous.. stating that presents should be kept $imple.. and a queer part was that our fellow SW mate commented on something.. and he reacted with a short and quick "how interesting." and went on with the lecture.. A little abrupt.. got me in a mini shock. gee. but I still enjoyed the lecture very much.

Been studying at home because I don't want to disturb people with my continous cough.. The very very obvious culprit of my sickness should be the huge amount of pasteries I ate for the Delifrance Breakfast Buffet.. I almost had a fever, minor body aches (both lasted for only one day) and a damn bad sorethroat.. could'nt talk for like two days? And then continuos cough from wednesday till today.. And have to run to the toilet continously to pui the phlegm and to do small business because I keep drinking water.. a very terrible process.. haiz.

Yesterday I was interviewed by my dear Jempok2 with regards to "Ethnicity and Blogging".. I did'nt realise the possibility of enhancing my ethnicity by blogging until she asked me some questions.. I might be typing in Chinese sometimes but it's really minimal la (as compared to sharon and julia's blog).. So I don't think it's a big deal. Usually it's been strongly encouraged that we keep our cultural roots, but actually I don't emphasis that in my life. 如果有心，就会做咯！As i could not find English words to describe my feelings now, hehe, i used Chinese. :P

What a POSITIVE post on my birthday.. duh.

Haiz.. dunno how many times have I complained about this.. But I'm going to complain again. I'm going to be excused because I'm growing older. Respect me.. : P

I thought I'm going to eat lunch alone again until my tutorial mate (whose friend could not make it for lunch) commented that she had no one to eat lunch with. As I feel sort of comfortable with her, I went ahead to have lunch with her. It was really a pleasant time to have a peaceful lunch with someone whom I feel comfortable to hang around with. Awkward pauses? Nevermind. At least she doesnt shoot me inappropriately.

Talking about being comfortable, I find myself very uncomfortable with a lot of people. And to think that my major requires me to be extroverted. I am extroverted before I come to University. Now I 封闭 myself because I don't really like the people around me?? And people can easily misinterpret your actions. Of course I don't feel like defending myself once I know that the friendship is not going to last anyway.

Really, I don't care. I don't care about eating cold and salty pasta salad in ulu kuku AS4.. Anyone is welcomed to look for me when you have no lunch-mates! :)

Little Birthday Gathering..

Just a short post cos I got no pictures to illustrate what happened today.

Spend the afternoon with Julia, Sharon and Ellen at Essential Brew.. tried the Blackened Dory which I insisted that it is chao-tah and Sharon insisted that it's 'blackened' because of some spices... hehehe.. ok la. U WIN.

Anyway, I like the Blackened Dory.. though Sharon said it's a lil too salty.

We ordered set lunches and had our own choice of tea. We decided to order different kinds of tea so that we can try them out. Well.. not all of them taste nice.. not to my surprise.. hahaha.. and Sharon's gonna have a phobia for Lavender for the next dunno-how-many days.. Ellen's one is dilued Ribena.. Julia's is diluted Milk Tea.. while mine is plain water with a slight Rosy scent. Mine should be the best one.

I recomended Sharon the Vanilla Obsession but Sharon like didn't think high of it.. haha.. Nevermind. I like can liao. :P

Well.. presents part.. I was quite okay la.. Actually, I find myself to be a more 'realistic' person. So realistic stuff would do.. But the effort shopping for the present.. hmm.. okay la. I forgive you all.

Anyway, we ate Delifrance Breakfast Buffet just now. It's such a..... er-hem. How should I say this?? Oh well, they offer pasteries only and in order to make the money worth it, we ate until we feel like puking. Clear enough eh? erm... so.. if you got TOO MUCH money and you don't know what to do with them, go and eat. In essence, I grumbled very much about the lack of watery and buttery scrambled eggs and I'm indeed very disappointed. I hope they include a big tray of scramble eggs next time.

But who am I to influence their menu.. hmm.....

I'm quite happy that so far the 预告 shows that the two of them are STILL together. Yeah!

Even though the ending is rather predictable, I still love watching it because humour was actually injected in the drama not like some other shows which are so damn boring. And oh, I love it la. hehe.

Today I went to school damn damn early to CHOP a carrel and went on to Mac for my Big Breakfast alone. It was quite nice to be alone.. A pity Mac was filled with people immediately after I went in. Studied for six hours with a short 10minutes nap. But in the evening, my brain cant seem to work very well.. Progress was slow. urgh.

Oh no, mundane mundane.. Urgh..

Isnt this frog adorable?? well.. he's a lil kiam pa at first look la.. haha.. but he's sort of the lead for my fav show now.. The show is very typical idol show but i guarantee you it's damn funny. hmm.. add the main link of the show here when im free..

因为本小姐的生日要到了，我准备了一系列的节目准备让自己过一个很开心的生日！

首先，我会跟余洁去 Delifrance 大吃特吃 buffet 早餐！：）

接下来，我即将要跟惠美（不知道她的名是不是这样写的）去看一场德语电影 Kebab Connection! 而且我们也会去找 Wursts 来吃！

这个星期六，我也会去参加一个CDC 演讲会。。 听说是一个很难得的机会。。也可能会对我社会学的课程有所帮助。。所以，我还蛮期待的。。

下个星期二我会跟初院的朋友例如秀情(?) 去 Essential Brew。。。而星期六我也打算去买，我想了很久，想要拥有的东西。。 照相机！！

好了。不是很精彩。。 哈哈！我真白痴！我只希望我的华语不要越来越烂。。 :P

Urgh. My energy level was like dwindling and dwindling.. I cannot stand it anymore!!! i must sleep earlier today! urgh!! pretty skin! Surprisingly for the first time, General Biology lecture was interesting. I cannot remember all the details but i UNDERSTOOD EVERYTHING!

Ha! Ha! Ha!

Well.. had a lab session looking at flies.. very interesting cos the flies were not dead. They are anaesthetised (Not sure if i got the spelling correct. Well, I don't even bother to check.) That means 麻醉 I think. And oh well, they machiam fainted liddat la.. But I could clearly see them.. under the microscope.. THEY'RE WRIGGLING! who would'nt feel queasy after looking at their wrigglings? The first fly I looked at was quite okay. For the 2nd one and the 3rd one, the image was damn BIG and i got a shock la. (Only Jane can understand what I mean when I say this)

Well, we finally took some pictures with our (disposable) labcoats on.. without people around of course. Share the fotos when I get them! :D

Standing back on my feet again. Most of the 功劳 goes to my dear..

Hmm... i rushed all the way.. ran the steep slopes of NUS.. panting like a.. monster.. ran like an elephant.. jus to find out my test was cancelled. What the..

2104 lecture got no more John Ang le! But i like Ong Teck Hong. He's so cute can. No wonder he got married. Nah, immature guys learn from him. He's got good humour.. tho not very handsome but very mature.

Making use of the drawing thingy in msn. i like this function! So damn cute.. Oh well, and i made use of the window with Julia. :X Was listening to Tom Albrecht's song and this phrase keep 'playing in my head'.. Stimes when i listen to "Dass Du Lebst", it's as if telling me that i'm worth the while in this world. I love that song.
