A super hilarious way of understanding the five stages of grief. The giraffe is super funny can! :D
The following information will be useful for people who want to understand what these 5 stages are about...
Five Stages Of Grief (Dr. Elisabeth Kubler-Ross)
1) Denial and Isolation.
At first, we tend to deny the loss has taken place, and may withdraw from our usual social contacts. This stage may last a few moments, or longer.
2) Anger.
The grieving person may then be furious at the person who inflicted the hurt (even if she's dead), or at the world, for letting it happen. He may be angry with himself for letting the event take place, even if, realistically, nothing could have stopped it.
3) Bargaining.
Now the grieving person may make bargains with God, asking, "If I do this, will you take away the loss?"
4) Depression.
The person feels numb, although anger and sadness may remain underneath.
5) Acceptance.
This is when the anger, sadness and mourning have tapered off. The person simply accepts the reality of the loss.
Not everyone will go through all 5 stages. Some people might go through the stages smoothly. Some, unfortunately, might get stuck in any stage... It's absolutely normal to experience grief, as it is part and parcel of life, isn't it.
I asked Tommy along as well, but he couldn't make it. So, Elaine insisted that the handsome and promising young man behind us will represent Tommy's presence.
Great choice of food by Elaine! She suggested ordering this pineapple bun (usually called Bo1 Lo2 Bao1) which is a specialty of Hong Kong...
and some dumplings, with vegetables and meat filling. Both of them taste great!
And we were quite lucky and happy that the restaurant was having some good offers. We had bonus ham and eggs for just 1 dollar!

Triple-flavoured ice kachang- red bean, mango and strawberry.
Not forgetting to take some photos before we started eating. Somehow, all of us had different expressions when we were supposed to have the same expression, that is hungry. Alright, perhaps being hungry has a different meaning for each of us.
It was drizzling, but we went ahead to stroll along the river. The view was nice. In addition, Kelly and me have somehow decided where we want to take our photos at.
And lastly, ended off the day with a slice of cheesecake and some juice.
Looking forward to more future meetups. Meanwhile, take loads of care! :)

P/S: Anyone wants to buy a Mr Lion for me, with my name embroidered on it? It's about 40 bucks and I think it's cute! (You'll have to go all the way to NUS MPSH1 to order it though. They don't have a number which people can call and make orders. Can't believe it.) Thought I would be a little crazy to buy for myself. Sigh, so... any takers?
Ming En's second pose with Mr Lion. Looked as if they are a couple. So, I decided to pose in such a way too and...

Helping each other to put on the gowns.

To think we had to avoid people from seeing us in gowns... it was super hilarious and fun!!!

It was quite embarrassing but fun to pose in those 70s or 80s pose- putting hands on our hips!

Joan's one of the few friends who's willing to pose all sorts of monkey poses with me. Anyway, thanks for the truthful and insightful sharing today!

Nice night scene which Julia insisted to take a photo of.
Sharon's super belated but super adorable mini birthday present. Sharon loves him a lot.
And last thing, hopefully a tour group of Julia's harem will be organised soon,
