What the past few months taught me...

I've been working on P for the past two years. I love it, because it is parallel to my life and my belief in living. My goal is to have at least one PP before I die- it represents a milestone in my passion for P and my belief in myself. I tried for it, but I was not selected. Just like how I was rejected during my down times, I felt rejected this time round too. But I have this nagging feeling that there must be a reason why I am not chosen this year.

I realised that God is giving me another reminder that everything will and should come in its time. Perhaps now I am not suitable for PP, but that does not mean that I will be not suitable for it forever. (Previously, I was also not suitable for a big hat which I tried to wear. But now I am ready for it.) Who knows, with one more year of hard work, I might be more ready for the challenge! I will be more confident (yet humble), I will gain more strength (slowly but surely)- people will find no excuses to not choose me because I am going to improve and I am going to do a brilliant job!

God basically took away what I wanted, and gave me something pleasantly surprising as a result. It came unannounced, yet naturally. However I believe what God took away for now might be temporal. I believe if I continue to work hard for it, I will deserve the opportunity. One day. Just you wait and see. I will have the chance to shine on the stage and showcase what I am worthy of. Meanwhile, I will enjoy what God wants me to enjoy now, and keep my faith, perseverance and hard work going.
