I was laughing like hell after watching this clip. Wahahahahahahaaaa~
Was zum Teufel?
In English:
It always makes me angry when I have to speak to her. Everytime I feel that she does not pay attention to me. For instance, when I was speaking to her earlier about our project, she did not even take a look at me. I find her very unfriendly. Always! This is not the first time. I have always try to pretend to overlook her lousy attitude. She is very kiampa. I don't like her.
I find it very funny that we came from the same school. We have never spoke to each other. And when we're in the same University, I tried smiling at her. But she ignored me! What's wrong with her? What the heck!

Alles Deutsch.
Warum? Denn Deutsch ist mein Interesse. Ein grosses Interesse. Ich gebe mein Bestes. Immer. Bitte treten sie mich nicht. Vielen Dank.
Model-ing.
So as you can see, I had loads of fun.
Naming my models, machiam having pageant.
Cannot really see the difference between 2 and 3 like that. But, they're wearing lipsticks of different colour.

I think 12 looks better than 11. The red necklace is a bit
Oh I love black dresses (especially 19)!

You actually have bags to choose from in the second link (that I am going to provide at the end of this entry) but they look weird floating in mid-air because the model won't hold on to it. Duh. I see no point in providing handbags.
If you have nothing better to do and love to dress up paper dolls in the past, try this and this online. They entertained me for at least half an hour. Haha~
My SSD and reflection on Social Work.
My slides were basically very colourful (which is what I always like) and filled with the pictures I took for this SSD. I've been keeping this SSD a secret and friends outside the Social Work department know nothing about my SSD. It's been hard for me to keep it a secret and now I am going to reveal it! :D
MY SSD IS ABOUT ENRICHING MY GERMAN VOCABULARY BANK!
For the benefit of my dear partner who was absent today and missed my presentation, here's some interesting highlights of my SSD.
I find my slides very cute, especially with the crayons around it.
Ming En said, "Pencils only mah!" and continued fumbling with her slides. -_-

I painstakingly drew this graph okay. Appreciate it though it does not look that impressive hor!
*big grin*

"So cute"s were everywhere after I flashed this slide. :D
Let's call it 粉红妹. Heeeeee.
So overall, I think my presentation was not that good because I did not touch on any Social Work implication and I also did not touch on the advantages and disadvantages of carrying out SSD in the Social Work field. But nonetheless, my presentation was concise and clear-cut (like me, haha). I was the only one whom Dr Ow did not ask a question. Was it because I was too concise or was it that my presentation was not interesting enough?! Gosh.
I was pretty cool at the start but when I stepped to the front of the lecture room, my hands were shivering like no one's business! It was a real relief when no one noticed that I was actually fumbling. Yay!
I must really thank Corrine who kept encouraging me and kept saying that my slides are not bad (this I am not really sure). Thanks thanks thanks.
Sidenote:
Social Work lectures are very different from other kinds of lectures because sometimes we get to hear very personal and touching episodes of people's lives. We learn and learn to overcome our own problems as well. That's a very big advantage of being a Social Work Major.
Sometimes, I think, if I were to go back in time, I will still choose to fail my Mathematics in Secondary Two so that I will still be forced to take art and not A Maths, forced to go into the arts stream, forced to take History, forced to come to FASS. If all these did not happen, I wouldn't be sitting down here and telling people how much I love the things I am doing right now.
I am thankful.
Might as well die now.
Seriously I think all smokers should just go and die. Like now.
Evil queen is talking evil again, but think about it.
Smoking is a 慢性自杀 act. Smokers not only harm themselves, they also harm their loved ones who're always around them and sway sway have to bear with the stupid smoke. (And the haze isn't making the situation any better.) Since they are going to die sooner or later, they might as well die now. Since they love to smoke so much, they can smoke in hell.
You want to die, die yourself lor. Don't make the rest, who wants to live for a longer time, suffer.

Forgive and forget.
Go on lah, hate each other. Might as well kill each other and perish together.
Damn it. I am very fed up. Why do I always get the shit of everything. Sometimes I just swallow and swallow and no one pity me lah. I've been always the one pitying myself and all I can do is to learn how to pour out all these shit from my brain. I hate it.
I know it's unhealthy to dwell in self-pity but, sometimes life is just unfair. I dwell in self-pity when I know no one is going to understand my situation anyway. I mean seriously, how can anyone be in this similar shitty experience as me?
Luckily I do not dwell in self-pity everyday. I am a pretty healthy girl. This happens quite frequently in the past but not now. I just need to complain and then let this go. It's really not easy to let go. But at least I try. This is how I go on.

Viel Glueck und Zufriedenheit zum Geburtstag!
Happy 21st Birthday, Jane! :D Freitag, Oktober 27, 2006
False Alarm.
The main point is, she gave us a wrong date and the actual test will only take place next Friday. The whole class went HUH. The classmates who came in later (and were armed by fat Langenscheidts) gave an even more HUH face when they were told that the test is not today.
Perhaps it's a blessing in disguise. I definitely need more revision. I should polish my German further! Being as usual, a hardworking student, I went to the Central Library to borrow some German books- of grammer, comprehension, usw. Let's pray that I will use them.
After the Semester Test, there will be a Muenlichepruefung (Oral) and as well as essay writing and Projektarbeit (project work). There are only three weeks of school left! Time really flies and I am like less than a year to graduation if I am not doing Honours.
Met Hongwei and Ann Ming in school this week. It is funny how we can talk so naturally now when in the past, we did not even bother to talk to one another this much.
Human dynamics never fail to always amaze me.

Impending German Semester Test.
I am having my German Semester Test tomorrow. Mein Gott. Let's pray together (for me) that I will get B- at least!
Even writing a German title for my work is stressful. I have to minimise the number of mistakes I make because I am taking German 5, not German 1, 2 or 3. ("Den" und "en" were added in yesterday.)
My small-and-a-little-out-of-shape German-English dictionary and Tengwen's fat-and-look-so-serious German-German dictionary will be good friends after this semester. Haha.

My hard work. Yeah right.
German online dictionary, dict.leo.org, is not working. Maybe it's trying to tell me something.
"Hey lazy Cindy, it's time to flip Tengwen's Langenscheidt loh. Tomorrow's the test and you have not gotten used to using that dictionary! Go flip it before it's too late."

Tales to share.
I did something kind on my way back home from tuition. I was walking mindlessly when suddenly I saw something blackish on the ground. I thought it's some stone but on a closer look, IT'S A SNAIL! I almost stepped on it just now! I stood around for a while, worrying if someone else will be more cock-eye than me and step on it, thus ending its slow and sad life. And guess what I did! I carried the snail (by the shell of course!) and helped him "cross the road" so that at least I know he is safe. The poor snail was apparently frightened to be lifted up, because it quickly went back into its supposedly safe home after I put it down. He must have felt that he was on some space rocket.
This is the first time I ever touch a snail. I decided to ensure its safety because I've seen for quite many times, crushed snails on the ground.
Cabbage Tale.

One fine day, the Queen (that's me) went to NTUC to buy her groceries. At the vegetables and fruits section, I was waiting for my mum to take her pick when suddenly a cabbage threatened to roll and drop onto the ground. I swiftly caught it in one hand (mind you, one hand only hor!) and retained that pose for a few seconds because I couldn't believe I could perform that kind of a stunt. I am so proud of myself.

Although this drama is a bit too lame, it has provided me entertainment, made me laugh in the midst of stress, and made me reflect on things which I could not have done by myself.

Nice girl?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA~
I am glad. Hehe. :)
Tuesdays with Morrie.
Someone said I am being too vague and thus, not being me. Hmm, I would beg to differ. Some things are better left unsaid. Really. But on the other hand, usually I say things out unless they are some dark secrets or unless someone else will be hurt in the process of me uttering nonsense.
Oh well, back to Tuesdays with Morrie, my weakness is to face death- especially death of loved ones.
A few months back, I chanced upon a blog owned by a guy, who is the same age as me, whose mum just passed away. He sounded real sad in his posts and he doesn't seem to be able to get over his mum's death. He expressed great pain in his entries and I really really wish I could comfort him even though I don't know him at all.
The moment came. The moment when you start thinking, "hey, when will my own parents pass away?", "how old will I be when they pass away?", "what will I do before they pass away?", etc.
I don't have that many close relatives and the ones whom I regarded the most is my immediate family- my mum, my uncle and my brothers. Having come from a traditional chinese family, we do not believe in expressing our love for each other outrightly. Sometimes it scares me to think that I will lose any of them suddenly. I mean, you never know right?
I have had a terrible dream before and my heart really ached like hell. It was almost like hell. Something taken out of you. Machiam someone used a knife and cut a piece of your flesh away.
The book was generally okay. I got pretty sick of all the sayings from Morrie because I have already heard of some of them. But upon reading the last few lines of the story, I teared. No big words, no super duper sad story, but I still teared.
I figured out, that it must be my fear of death. Death of others especially. I seem to get sad over deaths easily. No matter how Morrie tried to convince the readers that dying is a natural process that everyone goes through, I am still sad over the possibility of losing people I love.
You know what, I am inspired.
Inspired to embrace and let go of my fears, detach from those feelings because I have experienced them already.
Inspired to do things for my loved ones before time runs out.
It's never going to be easy but I'll try. Will you?

Dreams #1
And then I dreamed of going to a museum where I saw this supposedly German painting, which is named Schwartz-something. And then I was teleported to Germany where I saw the actual scene of the painting. Amazing.

Happy Birthday to a lost-and-found friend.
Birthday bear with her birth date.
I prepared some sweets as well.
And off I went to Chevrons.
Seems like a not too bad place, eh?
Her mum still remembers me after so many years!Choleric Cindy.
| You Have a Choleric Temperament |
![]() You are a person of great enthusiasm - easily excited by many things. Unsatisfied by the ordinary, you are reaching for an epic, extraordinary life. You want the best. The best life. The best love. The best reputation. You posses a sharp and keen intellect. Your mind is your primary weapon. Strong willed, nothing can keep you down. Your energy can break down any wall. You're an instantly passionate person - and this passion gives you an intoxicating power over others. At your worst, you are a narcissist. Full of yourself and even proud of your faults. Stubborn and opinionated, you know what you think is right. End of discussion. A bit of a misanthrope, you often see others as weak, ignorant, and inferior. |
How true! Haha.
But there's a point which I would like to clarify. I admit I am stubborn and opinionated, but I am very flexible and I behave appropriately most of the time. I don't impose my views upon others.
Here's a very interesting site on the four different global temperaments.

German-Learning: Projekt und Stammtisch.
Do you all know that Nivea, Persil, Philips, Levis, Rittersport, United Colours of Benetton, Hugo Boss, Langnese (Walls) are German brands?
Let’s take a look at the individual pictures of the poster!
Cool eh, muscular man in heels.
Jane brought the poster around the class and niemand noticed anything funny about this picture. Eh, you all must have slept more than me last night lor!
OPEN YOUR EYES BIG BIG!
Anyway, after the lecture, Ying Fong, Xinli, Joan and me went for Stammtisch, which is as usual held in Munchie Monkey and organized by die deutsche Sphaere.
The response was a little disappointing. It is not because I saw less than ten people from my own batch of German-learners, but the fact that the true meaning of Stammtisch seems to be long forgotten by the German-learners.
I mean, how often do you get to sit together with native Germans and converse with them? The most important element in Stammtisch is the sharing of joy and common interest between us German-learners. But I could not sense any of that tonight. Perhaps only between me and my own batch of German-learners.
I was pretty disgusted that some people were more engrossed with playing games than interacting with the other German-learners. They were simply in their own world.
What made things worse was the total number of Germans who attended the Stammtisch.
Luckily I got to speak German quite a bit with the new teacher (who's teaching German 1) as she was sitting right next to me. She was pretty friendly and nice to speak to.
She corrected my german! *runs away to hide* (Note the empty background.)
Us and the German teachers.
I could roughly recall how the last Stammtisch, which was only a few months ago, was like. The response was great and there were quite a few exchange students who participated in the event.
Let's hope that things will be better. A lot more work needs to be done to maintain the German-learning spirit and also, to not let the former president’s efforts go down the drain.
In the midst of a mess comes a question out of no where.
To protect the identify of this person, let's name him Mr XX.

This goes to show how much we know about our lecturers.

Random #8 (CAUGHT.)
Typical SW3101 lecture.
By the way, this is taken during break time. That will explain the empty seats.
NTU Ambassador came to NUS for a visit to take a look at our economics books, because NTU economics books are not as good as ours.
And look at that satisfied smile. You must have found a lot of useful books right, Miss NTU-ambassador?
A mindless offence.
An unexpected and sweet gift from Shang May.
Why did Shang May expand my whole body horizontally? Very fat leh. :(
I felt super ganjiong today as I was rushing out my handwritten memo critique of a research study. And from my gut feeling, I know I did not do well for it lah. Hopefully my participation in class can win me some additional marks.
Anyway, I got caught today.
For attempting to bring a book which is not checked out from the Central Library. I did not know there is so much complication with regards to a small little mindless blur mistake of mine. As I was profusely apologizing, I realise the librarian did not sense my sincerity because she gave me the don't-try-to-be-funny look.
Forced to sign this form.

I really did not mean to steal the book lor. I just mindlessly thought that I want to do some extra reading while having lunch. So much for being hardworking. I guess my brain was not functioning well today.
What luck.
P/S: I heard from a friend that she once got caught for smuggling food in and whenever her matriculation card is being tapped, information will be provided to the staff that she once, tried to smuggle food in. TERRIBLE~!!!
What you have to do is to help the little things wear Acuvue Moist because their eyes are not comfortable. And if you make them wait too long, they'll be angry and turn pink as a result.
