Okay Okay. I promise myself that I would watch 少年特攻队 next week after this traumatising essay-handing week. I must wind down a little. I realise I've been forgetting to watch it la! Oh my god how can I forget to watch tv! :(

Bits of today..

I was bathing just now when my brother came home. Yea. My second elder brother. I thought the sound of water running in the bathroom is quite loud.
He came in and asked my mum, "Ah girl 去补习阿?"
Erm, then who else is in the bathroom??! Okay never mind, I think it's pretty creepy.

Anyway, today I was observing this couple and I can't help but feel sweet for them! I don't always feel sweet for all couples because some of them are so damn gross. Most of them, if they happen to go Central Library, end up touching each other instead of touching their books. Aren't there other places to par tor? Of all places, you have to choose the Central Library which is supposed to be the haven of scholars, smart people and bookworm wannabes like me?

I just recalled something stupid I did around two semesters ago. Oh gosh. It's a horror to recall memories sometimes. *Push that memory behind*

As I find more and more resources for my 3216 essay, I got more and more hyper. Gosh, I think I am also trying to caught trouble because the more information you have, the more you'll feel like sharing and the greater the danger of going out of point.

Felt betrayed.

Don’t make empty promises when you know you cannot do it. Don’t make people wait for you. Not everyone is as magnanimous as my mum. I am one of the non-magnanimous and evil people around. I’ll haunt you and remember every bad thing you did.

Sometimes I wonder why my mum scold me. Haa. See? I am stubborn. Despite countless times of her nagging at me, I am still stingy and non-magnanimous. I just can't stand some people who take things for granted.

Joan's Birthday Celebration at Sentosa..

Though we don't know almost all the people at the party, Joan, being a very good host, introduced us to most of her friends. And I got to meet some people from NUS as well.

As Joan is the star of the day, I shall start this post with her picture..

We didn't get to touch the BBQ tongs at all and we ate the food which are barbequed by other people. Thanks to those who grilled the food. : P

This very bubbly Korean Drama is one of my favourites!! Makes me happy every weekend! I believe you'll like it too if you like those normal Korean dramas (because this is better!) The music is not too bad as well. The best part of this show is the spirit of 金三顺. Never give up! And well, for hungry girls, the male lead is not bad looking. heh heh. Sam Soon and Mr Xuan. (He's nicknamed San Shi which I think stands for 30 and I don't really understand why because the amount of money he offered is not 30 leh.

I remember there was one scene whereby San Shi was forced by Sam Soon to take a picture with her. And, he's supposed to put his fist on his cheek. Damn cute!

P/S: Last episode on Channel 55 this saturday! :(

The goodness of retail therapy.

This pair of flowery shoes are bought together with Yujie (last year around July or August) at a very good price, $15 only! It is considered cheap considering the design and all. Plus, your feet definitely won't get 破皮 or blisters! Yeah! This bronze shiny pair of nice sandles are bought last week. (Xinli has a similar pair!) All it brought me are blisters. My feet are still hurting now. I am going to arm myself with loads of plasters the next time I am wearing them. Even though they brought me blisters, you have to admit that they're preeeetttyyy!! Aren't they?? ($19.90, i think) This pair was bought today at only oh-my-god-$9.90! Nice, pinkish, flowery, yeah! Love it! :D Plus, I need a pair of slippers which is easy to wear. (Because I always rush to school. I don't have much time to tie school laces. Haa!) A little backlash of this pair is that it's a little high. Please help me up if you see me fall down. Erm, choyyyy!!!

I love to spend money! Yeah! Call me 拜金女郎 and I won't care! Erm, anyway, those above are bought at very reasonable prices! Buying them only increases my 成就感. *hoots*

Haa! I am feelings better now. Have sort of sort out my feelings. :)

IMH Visit and Happy Hour..

Today is definitely a very interesting day!

Firstly, I went to IMH for the second time in my entire life so far. It was a very nice visit. I asked quite a few questions. As the Youth ward in IMH is rather small (20 inpatients only), I think it only represented a very small percentage of the youths. Nevertheless, I learned something from the visit. Don't be surprised if one fine day I work there! :)

Tomorrow I will be visiting the Boys Home. It'll definitely be a very good learning experience! *excited*

Next, I proceeded to take train to Buona Vista to meet my JC eating kakis. It was not my first time to Holland Village liao! But I just realised that there's Mexican restaurants, Middle-eastern restaurants and even Indian restaurants! Definitely I'll go back one day to eat those food. MUST TRY!

We ate at Thai Express due to the budget I had. Nevertheless the green curry was not too bad and most importantly, the red ruby was soooo niceeee!!! I love it!!

I am glad that I took a video and recalled some stuff we did.

Sharon's dog Prince is very 好命. Okay, the post I linked here seems to contradict what I just said. Hahaha..




He eats Ben and Jerry's, Haagen Daz (sp?), drinks chrysanthemum tea, eats 肉干, chocolates and panadol when he's sick. The expensive icecream part tickled me, julia and weishang a lot. Can't help laughing man.





Happy hour was next. And before it officially started, Julia was already drunk, swinging around. She's one BIG 酒鬼! In total, she drank 2 and a half cups of beer. Oh gosh and she didn't turn red. Just a little too drowsy. Wahahaha..

It was wonderful to chat. Sometimes we didn't get to talk so much in school when we were in JC. Actually I think our 想法 is almost the same and I am glad they could understand me, how I feel and provide support. Not turn-me-away answers. Thanks! *extending my kisses to those who listen to me and support me* Sharon's one sentence striked me hard. I'll remember it! And I'll try to carry out the actions. Sigh.

But it was too cold there. We went in for less than half an minute and quickly scrambled out. Anyway the waitress was a little unfriendly too. That already made me feel like leaving.

We abandoned Eskibar for Wala Wala counter. Don't know if it's a good choice because this is my virgin happy hour.

Something striked me last night but I forgot to post it up..

You're married to a nice, serious, young man. He offers to fetch you everyday from work and you are of course very glad. He wants to eat homecooked food. Would you..

(a) Say, "Cook yourself la! I not your maid okay!"

(b) Cook for him and even offer a massage for him.

(c) Just 打包 anything you can find in the nearest foodcourt.

(d) Wait for him to cook since you know that he'll give in to you anyway.

For me, think I'll cook if I am free (of course that'll depend a lot on my cooking skills in the future and the extent he can stand lousy cooking) and 打包 something if I am very tired from work. Perhaps I'll offer to cook for him in the weekends and of course provide him with some good massages at the end of the day to make him feel happier and to show that I don't take his car rides for granted. Afterall, he's tired from work too.

I love long chats.

I love opening up, telling people my thoughts. Perhaps a little too honest at times but it relieves me. Don't coop yourself up people, expressing your feelings help a lot in relieving your anxiety. Rather than running away, I chose to talk it all out. But I must thank my friends for listening too. Friends whom I trust more would have already know what I've been up to these few days. I've been getting very depressed over a silly minor matter.

And together with that small little problem of mine (which might be insignificant to some people), I have loads of stress from schoolwork as usual. This is especially so for my favourite module every semester. So all adds up to be quite a handful of problems for me.

But I'll stay strong. I have my family and my friends who will support me. :)

P/S: Thanks, Xinli for listening to my long story and for sharing that wonderful love story with me. I really find it inspiring. :D

Had a chat with my family just now too. My brother is just like other ignorant citizens. Social work is not only about counselling okay! Everybody read this carefully!! Go do some research about Social Work before telling me what Social Work is about. Social work is a helping profession and social workers get paid! They're not volunteers! Oh my god. As I study more and more social work stuff, I really felt like advocating for the social work field. Perhaps it might be my future profession afterall.

The Five People You Meet In Heaven..

Look at what I borrowd from the library!! I am so excited now!! Yay!! So far, Uncle Richard and Julia have recommended me to read this book and today, Xinli added plus points to this book. Must Read!

My outfit yesterday. The black motorcyclist-like tee was rather big but comfortable! It is made of a very soft fabric but er, I can get very sweaty in it because it does not absorb sweat.

What I wore yesterday. Another pair of ancient earrings from my mum. I've been yearning for big circles earrings but nah, not sure about spending more money. Thus, I decided to wear this pair.

As you can see I got TONNES of earrings. Studs and dangling ones. You name it, I've got it. When I told my mum how nice the earrings in Watts In are, my mum simply said, "Siao! You got so many ears meh?" :X
