showed us some sticky insect.. (Don't ask me why it's sticky. Ask the insect yourself.) And he shoved the insect onto the stem.. The insect seemed unwilling to go into the centre of the "mouth" of the plant (OF COURSE!!).. And thus, he pushed it with some stick all the way in and *pop* the plant closes its mouth and byebye insect!!

The lecturer explained that as long as the sensory hair on the plant's "mouth" is being moved twice, it'll close its "mouth".. thus, enabling it to eat insects.. interesting.. but sorry, no interest in advancing into Biology.
