Months ago, mum gave me my first 21st birthday present- my long-awaited first ever $100+ watch. We chose it together. Nice right?

I got myself my second 21st birthday present- my sunflowery Neckermann.

A few weeks ago,
Xinyi: Don't open my drawer hor!
Me: Why? (Actually I don't open her drawer at all and won't care to open.)
Xinyi: Don't open lah!
Me: Why leh~ Later I go open.
Hahahahaha...Xinyi: Inside got your birthday present lah. You open yourself on that day lah!
So straightforward eh? She must have learned it from me.
I obediently opened the present only at 12th October (12 am) itself. I couldn't stop smiling when I saw the card.
What's that "naive" doing there?!
But I like the rest of the words: Courage, Intelligent, Diligent and Youthful.
Indeed over the years, I've grown more courageous and intelligent. I am youthful when I hang out with youths. When I am alone, I frown and think like an old lady. So...
Nevertheless, the words are SO SWEET!!! :D
On 6th October 2006, my dear long-lost friend Agnes insisted that she pass me my present earlier because she'll be busy that week.
I love them, especially the bracelet! There are small little hearts with mini diamonds attached to it. After so long a time, she still remembers my birthday. I am really very very touched.
Everyone says that this necklace is nice! Agnes got good taste! :)
On 9th October 2006, Serene passed me a gift too.
It's a Metro gift card! What I like most about her present is this:
HAHA~
Early this morning, 12th October 2006, Julia came over to borrow some stupid Economics book and handed me three roses. :D
Haha, I love flowers! THANKS DARLING!
As we were leaving for HSSML, I tried to look for the red plastic bag which Julia used to bring the roses over. And I accidentally chanced upon my darling Ming En's present for me. Julia totally looked helpless because it was supposed to be a surprise.
And then the funniest thing is that I asked Julia who is Karin. -_-
She baked a cake for me! :) Love you loads lah!
And oh well, the Queen is of course not yet satisfied. I was falling asleep while reading my readings, so I decided to perk myself up by reading Ming En's card for me. Oh my god, I saw a whole chunk of small small wordings. And what's interesting is that she did not use any bombastic words or artistic poem, and yet I cried while reading her card.
Who would have thought that forever-bubbly Ming En will make the Queen cry?
I am indeed very touched by what she wrote. Hee. I will not share the content with you all!!!
Sharifah gave me a horrified look as she saw my swollen eyes. Ming En!!! You and Rebecca and Serene have all brightened up my life in NUS too! Love love love you!!!
From my brother:
*managed a weak laughter*
His attempt to appease me. Since he said I am already an adult, how come still give me soft toy arh? See how weird man can be? -_- (Nonetheless, good effort lah. What more can I ask from him?)
Let's call it Niu Niu. It can be interpreted as 妞妞 or 牛牛. Gee.
Julia said appease is a very history word. Hahaha. Once a history student, always a history student. SAJC is not entitled to this line totally okay.
And from Xinli and Ying Fong that evening,
I cannot stop laughing while watching the video. And I cried again lah! Naughty beauties made the Queen cry!
Er-hem, my kaputte Bein is left one, not right one. And Xinli ah Xinli, you spelt Geburtstag wrongly again (since last year?)! Haha! And draw on the whiteboard only? I want a real card and preferably, Xinli's 加油 dance together with a birthday song. Erm, can do both together, since Xinli is a talented girl?
I am going to laugh at Xinli for at least a few more days, or perhaps for a few more months. Hahahahahaha!!!
Haha, love you girls too! :D
Finally a card from mum that very night.

Every special occasion, she'll dig out some 大道理s to write. (Not forgetting an angbao too!)

On 13th October 2006,
Had my hairband competition with Xinli. Of course I lost because her hairband got crown. -_-
Anyway, we went to Pitstop Cafe.

As you can see, we quite like the penguin water dispenser.
Xinli's artwork.
Guess who made the Salt and Pepper pose in such a manner?
Game time!!!
Guess what is this!!
A totally out-of-shape wine glass.
NO, it's a mascara.
Deduction Round.
The difference between my camera and Chichang's.
His.
Mine.
-_-"

The Queen with her crown.

Pitstop staff singing Korean birthday song for me.
Haha, so next time if you happen to be there, you can request for a Korean birthday song from her! Haha, she's quite a cute girl. :)
What the German people got me:
A German storybook. (Woo, I want to get myself the Kao-tai one!)
A really cute quiz book about Germany.
14th October 2006, met up with Yujie and Zhumei again for a Birthday treat. Yay!

A fusion of Japanese and Western taste.
Two stars out of five.
Ninja Rakun (?). Judging from the taste and ingredients, we think this is not worth a try.
Half a star out of five.
Dessert, very nice black sesame icecream with a small scoop of red bean mash.
Four stars out of five.
Shocked Zhumei meets the Greedy Queen.
(Hey, Julia, I didn't turn black.)
And we went to Ben and Jerry's for some nice icecream.

Errr, the hole in the middle looks like a heart, right??? Reminds me of my German "Beschreiben Sie das Bild" homework. Hahaha.
Seriously, I think a treat for birthday is a really good idea, especially when I am so worried about spending money these days.
On 15th October 2006, went out with my JC classmates. And found out (what the!) M1 has this tracking function!
Eerie.
Who says I am violent? Someone is more violent than me!
What Julia proudly presented to me: Schwarzwaldkirschtorte (Blackforest cake), and proudly said that she chose this because it has german origins. Haha.
Nets Gift Card from the girls.
Great effort was put in by Julia to organise everything, including inviting Ming En along for this gathering (But she was sick. Boo). Shang May was invited too but she couldn't come too! Boo again.
Anyway, she desperately learned the german birthday song from Jialing and listened to the birthday song clip on Xinli's blog (I think repetitively) in order to practise how to sing it. Haha. Seeing her desperately trying to pronounce the words correctly tickles me so much. Hee. Okay lah, I love you. Haha.
First attempt.
Second attempt.
Notice that no one sang except her. Haha~
Cheers to your courage in singing it alone! :D
Thanks, girls! :)
And lastly,

...to myself!
