Who doesnt have Dreams??

Today was quite a fun or rather enriching day..

Firstly, i had my SW2104 lecture... my lecturer is a very cute man!! i like him!! :D He was trying to explain to us that we should get married and have children when we are young.. And then he said.. when woman's egg becomes century egg, its quality wouldnt be that good le. that line came suddenly and all of us exploded.

Then had my SW2105 tutorial.. as usual, we jus talk and evaluate what we talked about.. we were supposed to talk abt our dreams.. hah! it's so fun.. me and my grp mates talked abt our dreams happily.. saying that we wanna get married before 30... it's jus so fun to talk with girls.. hmm.. and my grp mates this week are nice ppl... hehe.

i jus dun really feel comfortable with some ppl.. but luckily my SW2104 grp mates are quite nice ppl.. got to know quite a lot of nice ppl..

Then i went to the stupid library to photocopy readings for TWO WHOLE HOURS! gosh.. my neck.. my back. bah!!! and headed to AS7 for my one hour of german vocab exercise.. i've decided to catch up on my german vocab.. must 向那个 charismatic guy 看齐! hee.

Oh! i watched "One More Chance" too! Jack Neo's lastest movie "三个好人".. it's not bad.. and it's rather meaningful.. the ending was a happy one.. but i really wonder if that will happen in real life.. if i were to be Apple Hong in the show, i would choose Ah Hong cos he is richer. heh.

A boring post of wad i did. looks like i'm back on my studying track. :)

The Birthday Girl

Over the years, my dear frend has slimmed down so much and become so pretty liao.. she even has bf le! gosh. cindy's still ugly and single. :X

It was raining today and it's the best time to have steamboat!! but why everytime i eat steamboat i've to burn my mouth ah? urgh.

that's the cake, Grace's mum, sleepy me, grace, her bro and his gf.. his gf is so sweet sia.. haha.

i thought this was quite funny.. so i shall share..

My frend love her dog.. treat her as part of the family.. and she came up of an idea.. Her dog is called Nani.. and my frend's surname is 'kway'. In chinese, pronounced as 'guo'.. So...

her dog is called Guo Nani.

She claims that she'll put this name on her dog's grave in the future.. I thought it's rather funny.. but this woman (Nani, i mean) is less ferocious when compared to Chinese New Year.. She din bark at me.. instead, she looked at me with those watery 'i am lonely' eyes.. but occasionally hairy touches under the dining table really PERKS me up.

i hope they enjoyed my company.. :)

Anyway, retail therapy doesnt work for me. in the end i jus feel worse. i spent some amt of money buyin a hair thingy.. to straighten and curl my hair.. i hope i can make nice curls out of it!! yea!! i love curls!! and wad's best is it's temporary only.. jus that i need to spend some time to set it properly with wax or spray. i try la.

I'm feeling better le.. thanks to peiqi and julia.. told julia the whole thought process.. dunno if she understood totally.. broke down in front of peiqi and yet she doesnt know wad happened to me.. haha! having frends do make the difference.. i realise i dun really always go to my best frend for every lil prob i hav.. so i think i have a few 'best frends' whom i feel comfortable to confide in.. thanks. and i hope next time if you all have (CHOY) any problem do come to me! i give u therapy! for free. heehee. (but next time if i become professional social worker, you must pay me. :X)

I've added a thingy on the top of my blog.. did you all see? isnt it cute?? actually it's for couples to count down for anniversaries and holidays.. but as a blur person, i dunno when's my mid term breaks or wadsoever.. so i think it's more meaningful to count down to my birthday.. like that people will have no excuse not to wish me happy birthday. =p

How GREAT. i'm having my most-hated illness now. SORE ( i was about to spell saur.. haha!) THROAT..

i hate it cos with it, i cant sing... i cant nag.. i cant shout loudly like i always do.. and my mood will be foul-er. it reminded me of how i use 'sore throat' as an excuse for not attending choir practices. it's a stupid excuse.. cos i love singing.. but isnt it too late to say such things? i love those choir days.. helps relieve those stress from studies.. and i've made some very nice frends there like jessalyn. :)

Well.. WHY i got sore throat.. these few days kept feeling weird.. you know when you're about to fall sick, you have that sick breath in you? yea. i felt that i had a 'sick' breath.. and my illness (think due to some heatiness) is looking for sth to ignite it..

My tuition kid yesterday was the one who triggered off EVERYTHING. i asked him to do correction for his composition.. and wad he did was write two sentences for each paragraph and there are four paragraphs. mind you he's Primary 3 and his compo by right should be 120 words long..

He 敢敢 do this even for correction!!! I would not want to mention how badly he'd done his compo last week. He was given a week to do his correction and he handed this crap to me. It's not only disrespect for me. It's an insult to himself. He's not stupid okay. He's smart. When i guide him thru his assessment book, his reactions told me that he has got the capabilities.. It's just that he's plain lazy (like my brother).

I was so bek last night. I scolded him. To him, i might seem like a mad woman but i dun care.

I guide him thru the whole composition.. thought for ideas for him cos he refused to contribute ideas.. and in the end, the composition was 150++ words. I held the paper up. I put the compo which we did together and the compo whh he did for correction. Then I asked him.

" 你看一看。。 你觉得你写的 compo 像样 mah?"

Obviously, the one with content added by me if much much better than his pathetic 80++ words compo.. I started to blast off like a machine gun.. saying that if he wanna hand up that kind of crap, he might as well dun write anything.

But one thing is that i feel for this kid particularly. His parents are divorced and his grades, like shit. Last CA, luckily he passed.. jus passed. He's bubbly when i dun scold him. and i sort of enjoyed teaching him. but his attitude really pissed me off. He can answer comprehension questions with shitty answers and allow me to make all those ugly red crosses in his book. And he's happy when he gets crosses! gosh. I forced him to read the passage in front of me and answer the questions in front of me.. and he can get the answers! so, he's not stupid at all!

i dunno wad's wrong with this kid la.

Today Julia came to NUS.. The rest couldnt meet her cos they had lessons and ifah said she chose the wrong day to come.. sorry ah.. think we din plan properly la... but they dun seem to miss julia? haa.. nvm la. 如果有心的话，大家总有一天会有机会见面的。。

sorry ah.. made u wait for around 10minutes.. but at least u ate.. GERMAN SAUSAGES! are them nice??

i bought one Kaesewurst and one Bratwurst for my family.. :D

ANd i bought one top too! from the bazaar at forum.. was quite happy cos my tops are getting old.. and some of them are no longer suitable cos some happily shows off my flaws.. gosh.

Also, i've decided to keep a record of how much i spend daily.. i see if it's useful la.. if not useful, shall stop recording..

Today had a very thought-provoking Social Work tutorial..We were talking about the Yellow Ribbon Project. And Ms Nair started to pose some questions..

Ms Nair:If you were to be employers and an ex-convict came for an interview. You ask him what crime he committed.. He said he was a child molester..
We: (giggles)
Ms Nair: Or he said he's a molested a woman..
We: (mumblings)
Ms Nair: Or he murdered his ex-employer...
We:(chatterings)

Even me... caught guilty for having (supposedly) biased thinking.. seriously, if u were to be his future employer, would you dare to employ him? what if he were to murder u one fine day? Suddenly i was so shocked that us, social workers wannabes were actually having these biased thinking. It's surprising that when we, on the surface, advocate stuff like "We should give them second chances." and somewhere in our unknown self, it's a completely different story..

It really made me rethink about what kind of person I am..

Random #4 (Einige zufälligen Gedanken. Some random thoughts.)

I have been listening to 有你多好。。 it gave me all those 'touching goosebumps'.. it's a nice song. the mtv would have been more touching if it were to feature the male lead dying in the end. I like the screaming part tho. it really allows the viewer to think about the story behind this song. To me, i view it as a very sweet story.. and the couple could not be together for certain 老掉牙 reasons. gee.

Ich habe mit Ifah gegessen.. been a long time since i see her.. i miss my JC classmates, especially after i put up a picture of us on my desktop. i dun wanna think about who's my best frend or good frends or close frends.. i wanna do without those terms. They only made me doubt myself and doubt my frends. so i shall hang out with whoever i want, as much as i want.

Letzte Woche ist sehr schlecht fuer mich.. my mood for studying is completely lost and i was in foul mode. This week, i shall work hard, finish my assignments, prepare for tutorials, and do my readings... PULL UP DA SOCKS GIRL!! (i really hate to nag myself but bobian... cos i still haven got my study mood completely back)
